30 for 30: Halfway recap

We are on a much needed break from 30 for 30 this week, as you may have noticed. We just completed the halfway mark and I think this is a good time to sit back and look at all the different looks we were able to create from our chosen 30 pieces ( actually only  28 items here, intentionally leaving room to add two more after reviewing the first fifteen outfits)

What do you think I need to add into this mix… more color, more tops, pants, shoes? Would be great to hear any suggestions. To view the outfits again watch the slideshow below,

I would love to see a Rockstar/Punk look from him. You so know he will rock it…

Ok here goes…

1. Some Accessory ideas: Open Sandals, Slip-On Shoes, Tall boots, Eye glasses, Bandanas/Scarves, neck ties, bracelets, necklace…wherever you see fit.

2. Colors: White Pants or shorts. Why should white be relegated to Tees & Shirts? If you are looking for other colors then Yellow, Purple.

3. I know the weather does not allow it, but thrown in some SHORTS (khaki or jean, your pick). All previous looks have been done with full length pants, so this will bring some variation.

4. A cowboy do. Cowboy hat needed of course. Perhaps throw in a lasso & tall boots.

5. A boho look. Throw in a bandana or scarf. Or use a kurta.

6. A retro or preppy casual look with a tie, perhaps with eye glasses thrown in (without the lens; just the frame?)… I know you do not prefer using neck ties in kids for safety reasons, but if “I” is a good kid and doesn’t meddle with his tie, then…

7. A sports/horse jockey look. Cargo pants tucked under tall boots; white T/shirt with a jacket.

8. A sailor look.

9. Just a messy/dirty kid look. Splash an old white T with paint or dirt and pair it with the jean (although “I” is a stickler for cleanliness :)

10. I second Sabi’s idea for a rockstar/punk look…

Thank you so much both of you…
Anupama- I absolutely appreciate your time and ideas, they are wonderful. Will try and see what I can implement.
Sabita – Will try getting him to work a rockstar look.
Ideally would be great to try all the suggestions here, however I have my constraints since this is part of 30 for 30. I will definitely keep these ideas for future reference!

As for the neck tie… I do have a clip on on, so I will use that!

Anytime, totstylist! I am having fun in the process too :) BTW, for future reference, since we are in California country, show your love for the outdoors with:

11. A Scouts (or) an out-in-the-woods Hiker/CAMPER look. (complete with tent, camping stove & mugs etc!!)
12. Little Surfer boy in the beach
13. Skateboarder
14. Alpine Skier/Snowboarder

Anupama has had great ideas already! =)
I would love to see some elf-outfit or some Christmas thing since it is on the way (don’t know if you celebrate Christmas but you can make it about the holiday you celebrate! =D)
